Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and patients by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access‑control protocols, and security‑related responsibilities at a healthcare education location.
• Staff the front desk, greet and direct visitors, verify identification and appointments as required, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor logs.
• Monitor access points, cameras, alarms, and communication systems; report unusual activity, policy concerns, and maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, medical‑related calls, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Provide information and assistance to guests while maintaining a professional presence that helps to deter unauthorized access and supports an orderly environment.
