Job summary

Allied Universal in Ohio is seeking an overnight Lobby Concierge to greet employees and visitors, uphold safety procedures, and support security and facilities teams. This role requires a professional demeanor and the ability to balance multiple daily tasks in a fast-paced environment.

You will work across industries with a focus on customer service, use the Visitor Management System, and maintain a high standard of professional communication, even under pressure.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Background check as per federal/state/local laws; may include criminal history review.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Guard Card or state security certification may be required.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a corporate office setting.
• Demonstrated ability to interact cordially with the public and work under stress.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by following safety procedures and site policies.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations.
• Conduct regular patrols around the premises; vary by client site.
• Greet employees, visitors, and guests in the lobby.
• Operate the Visitor Management System for smooth check-in processes.

This is an overnight position. Customer Service and High Tech Computer Skills required

As a Lobby Concierge, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, Government and more. The Lobby Concierge will greet employees, visitors, vendors, and represent the company brand to all those who pass through the main lobby of the building. The successful candidate must possess a professional demeanor, the ability to balance a myriad of daily tasks, and display superior communication abilities. In addition, this position involves support for quick and effective response to Employee, security, facilities, and other related service needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
• Welcome employees, visitors, and guests to campus
• Effectively utilize the Visitor Management System (VMS) to ensure a smooth check-in process
• Provides excellent customer service, actively engage with each individual

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. *A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only
• High school diploma, GED, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• Possess and maintain an appropriate state-required security certification (“Guard Card”), or be able to obtain one upon employment
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a corporate office setting
• Work history must include demonstration of:
  • Ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public
  • Ability to work effectively under high stress situations
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Contributing positively as part of a team, helping out with various tasks
