Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer for Lobby Access Control in Phoenix, AZ. You will provide customer service, monitor access, perform unarmed patrols, and respond to incidents to maintain a secure environment.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Thur: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Fri: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Sat: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Sun: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the distribution center, warehouse areas, parking lots, loading docks, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and support access-control procedures for employees, vendors, contractors, and delivery drivers in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities as required.
• Observe loading and receiving operations, maintain awareness of vehicle and pedestrian traffic, and report hazards, damage, or policy violations to site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
