Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer - Lobby in San Antonio, TX. You will provide customer service, deter security incidents through patrols, and manage access at an automotive finance location. A valid driver’s license is required; a Guard Card and CPR certifications are preferred.

This is a full-time role with a daytime schedule described in the posting. Applicants will undergo background checks and drug screening as part of employment.

Job Description

As a Security Officer - Lobby in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an unarmed Security Officer at an automotive financial services location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at an automotive finance office location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, parking lots, building entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and vehicle activity in accordance with site requirements; report unusual conditions and document incidents accurately.
• Communicate professionally with site contacts, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership while completing required reports and shift documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
