Position is Full Time with pay rate of $14.00 per hour. Qualifications include Texas Level III Armed Certification, 21+ age for armed posts, high school diploma, and background check; drivers license required for driving positions.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles; 18+ for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• A drug screen may be required as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to customers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, and potential hazards, helping to deter theft, vandalism, and other unauthorized activity.
• Complete required reports and maintain accurate records of incidents, patrols, and security-related activities.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Level III Armed Patrol in Edinburg, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers and staff. You will respond to security-related concerns, communicate clearly, and deliver exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
