Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, patients, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site personnel and public responders as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of commercial buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and document observations, incidents, and actions in accordance with site policies.
• Maintain required armed qualifications and handle assigned equipment in accordance with Allied Universal, client, and applicable legal requirements.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This role requires an Armed Guard Card or License, Concealed Carry Weapons Permit, and Act 235 Qualification. What You'll Do

Minimum Requirements

• Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Possess Act 235 qualification in Pennsylvania.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
