Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a utilities location by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility buildings, operational areas, access points, and the perimeter to identify unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, observing entry/exit, and maintaining logs and documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel or emergency services as needed.
• Complete accurate patrol, incident, and access activity reports and communicate information to leadership and site representatives.

Job Schedule:

• Sat 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sun 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a utilities location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility buildings, operational areas, access points, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, observing visitor and contractor entry and exit, and maintaining required logs and documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Complete accurate reports on patrols, incidents, access activity, and maintenance or hazard observations, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
