Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Guard and patrol campus to protect property and personnel from hazards.
• Inspect doors, windows, and gates to ensure security.
• Observe departing personnel to prevent theft.
• Inspect equipment for tampering.
• Report security irregularities.
• Respond to alarms and medical emergencies.
• Permit entry for authorized personnel.
• Check credentials for access to restricted areas.
• Issue temporary badges as required.
• Direct traffic on premises; operate a security vehicle as needed.
• Escort duties on campus.
