Northrop Grumman Space Sector invites you to bring your pioneering spirit to our Redondo Beach, CA site as a Security Officer – Level 2. This 3rd shift role requires protecting property and personnel, patrolling, and responding to alarms and emergencies onsite.

The position requires an active U.S. Government DoD Secret clearance, a valid driver's license, and the ability to operate a company security vehicle; California Guard Card and TS/SCI clearance are preferred.

Qualifications

• Active U.S. Government DoD Secret clearance required at time of application, with SCI eligibility.
• High School diploma or equivalent with 2 years related education/experience.
• Valid government-issued driver’s license.
• Must be able to operate/drive a company security vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Guard and patrol campus to protect property and personnel from hazards.
• Periodically inspect doors, windows, and gates to ensure security.
• Observe departing personnel to prevent theft of company or personal property.
• Inspect equipment for tampering and report security irregularities.
• Respond to alarms and medical emergencies.
• Permit entry for authorized personnel and examine credentials.
• Direct traffic on campus and escort duties as needed.
• Operate company security vehicle and perform other duties as assigned.
