Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Notify local police when backup is necessary.
• Inspect buildings, equipment, and access points.
• Verify identity and permit entry of authorized personnel.
• Inform violators of policies and restrain trespassers.
• Direct traffic and manage vehicle flow.
• Check surveillance cameras for disruptions or unlawful acts.
• Submit surveillance and incident reports.
• Secure all exits, doors, and windows after operations.
• Investigate people for suspicious activity or possessions.
• Adhere to university policies and safeguard assets.
• Patrol hospitals, buildings, grounds to prevent and document incidents.
• Monitor alarms and assist in follow-up.
• Respond to emergencies and disasters.
• Maintain a safe environment with high public contact.
• Complete mandatory training and adapt to other duties as assigned.
