Position Summary:

Sovah Health is seeking a Security Officer to provide security services and ensure a safe environment for patients, staff, visitors, and property.

Responsibilities:

1. Monitor and respond to security threats proactively.
2. Investigate and manage security incidents and hazards.
3. Follow policies regarding alarms and emergency plans.
4. Assist in drills and simulations.
5. Conduct security rounds.
6. Assist staff and visitors to promote safety.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Critical thinking, decisive judgment, ability to work independently.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Certifications: BLS from American Heart Association within 60 days, Handle with Care training within 30 days, handcuff training within 60 days.
• Valid driver’s license with a good record.
