Job summary

Tower Health Security is seeking a Security Officer 2 in Reading, PA. The Full-Time Evening Shift (2:45pm–11:15pm) includes alternating weekends and holidays.

You will patrol, monitor, enforce rules, and respond to emergencies, with leadership during incidents and detailed reporting. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED (or relevant experience), certifications such as FEMA IS-100.C/906/907/200.C, a valid driver's license, and IAHSS certifications.

• Driver's license and safety certifications support on-site security duties.

Job Summary

Work Schedule: Full-Time Evening Shift, hours are 2:45pm-11:15pm with every other weekend and every other holiday required.

Part of the Patrol Division, the Security Officer 2 plays an essential role in maintaining a secure environment by patrolling assigned areas, monitoring for suspicious activities, enforcing rules and regulations, and responding to calls for service and emergencies. This position typically involves a combination of foot and vehicle patrols to maintain visibility and deter potential security threats. The officer is also expected to handle more complex security challenges, serve as a lead during incidents, and report and document any occurrences that may pose a risk to safety or security.
