Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by following site procedures and screening requirements.
• Screen individuals, belongings, and deliveries and control prohibited items.
• Verify identification, credentials, and authorization for entry to controlled areas and maintain records.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and emergencies per procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas and entry points to deter unauthorized activity.

As a Security Officer Identity Verification in Concord, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will help maintain a secure, welcoming environment by screening visitors and employees, monitoring access points, and communicating professionally with guests and team members. You will use technology to support security-related operations, help identify potential concerns, and provide outstanding customer service. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific procedures and access screening requirements.
• Screen individuals, visitor belongings, packages, and deliveries in accordance with established policies and escape prohibited or suspicious items through appropriate channels.
• Verify identification, credentials, and authorization for entry to controlled areas while maintaining accurate visitor and screening-related records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas, entry points, and the surrounding business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Hold CPR certification, preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
