Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents calmly and escalate concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout technology-focused facilities.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, supporting authorized entry procedures and documenting observations.
• Maintain accurate activity and incident reports and communicate with site personnel and leadership.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.36 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site‑specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout technology-focused facilities, including business areas, entry points, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, supporting authorized entry procedures and documenting security-related observations.
• Maintain accurate activity and incident reports while communicating professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
