Responsibilities

Under supervision, provides basic security coverage outside the property, ensuring safety for patrons and staff, safeguarding assets, and maintaining a friendly, guest-oriented demeanor.

Essential Job Functions:

1. Observe and obey traffic regulations.
2. Drive company bicycles on designated routes.
3. Direct vehicular traffic in parking areas.
4. Report suspicious vehicle behavior.
5. Prevent unauthorized vehicle removal.
6. Ensure security during money transfers.
7. Respond to incidents and emergencies.
8. Provide emergency medical care within certification limits.
9. Follow Gaming Commission Regulations and policies.
10. Control traffic flow if needed.
11. Give directions and answer guest inquiries.
12. Document medical calls thoroughly.
13. Complete inventory and inspection checklists.
14. Report equipment and supply issues.
15. Maintain cleanliness of EMS equipment and supplies.
16. Assist in emergency coordination.
17. Perform other duties as assigned.

Note: Must be able to operate a bicycle for a full shift. May also work as a Security Officer inside the casino at the same pay rate.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent, with at least one year of guest service experience or equivalent education and experience.

Additional Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, ride a bicycle for long periods, climb stairs, respond to emergencies, and handle basic duties.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment:

• Effective communication in English.
• Frequent standing, walking, handling, reaching, talking, hearing, and smelling.
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds.
• Exposure to noisy, crowded casino environment, possibly with secondhand smoke.

The Tribal Council prioritizes employment for Native Americans, with first preference to Seminole Tribe members, then other federally recognized tribes.
