Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check conducted in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to hotel guests, visitors, and staff while carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of guest areas, entrances, parking areas, and property perimeter to identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner, escalating according to site procedures.
• Monitor access points and guest-facing areas, assist with directing visitors, and help maintain a welcoming environment.
• Complete accurate activity reports and communicate observations and incidents to hotel management and Allied Universal leadership.

What You'll Do

• Provide exceptional customer service to hotel guests, visitors, and staff while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of guest areas, entrances, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Monitor access points and guest-facing areas, assist with directing visitors, and help maintain an orderly, welcoming environment.
• Complete accurate activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to hotel management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
