Qualifications

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least 1 year of security‑related experience is required.
• Required hospital vaccines must be received.
• Must be willing to work in and around a morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted as required by law.
• Qualified applicants with criminal histories will be considered in compliance with laws.
• A drug screen may be required.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Hospital Emergency Response Driver in Frankfort, KY, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.51 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day: Thur

Time: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (\"Anchor Shifts\"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.


• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.


• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including requests for assistance involving patients, visitors, staff, and healthcare operations.


• Conduct regular and random patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary by location.


• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site‑specific procedures, helping to support an orderly environment for patient care.


• Document incidents, observations, and activities accurately and communicate relevant information to appropriate site personnel and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.


• At least 1 year of security‑related experience is required.


• Required hospital vaccines must be received.


• Must be willing to work in and around a morgue.


• Must be able to restrain individuals when necessary.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
