Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer - Hospital Patrol Driver in Las Vegas, NV for a part‑time role. You will serve patients, visitors, and staff and conduct routine patrols in a healthcare setting.

This position offers a daytime schedule with an hourly pay rate of $18.00. A valid driver’s license is required, and you will be subject to vaccination requirements, background checks, and a medical screening as per hospital policy.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of security‑related experience.
• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be able to work in a hospital environment including a morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals as needed.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen as per law.
• Licensing requirements per state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with facility procedures, directing individuals to appropriate areas when needed.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

What You'll Do:

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
