Job summary

Allied Universal in Lawton, OK is seeking a Security Officer Hospital Patrol to protect patients, visitors, staff and vendors within a healthcare technology and communications environment. You will monitor sites, perform routine and random patrols, and enforce site policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare technology and communications environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, addressing access concerns, disturbances, and emergency notifications.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, documenting observations and reporting incidents to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation while communicating with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

• Tue 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Wed 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, documenting observations and reporting incidents to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation while communicating professionally with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Meet hospital vaccine requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
