Pay rate is $21.00 per hour. Typical schedule includes DayTime Sun 3:00 PM – 3:00 AM, with opportunities to scale to up to 40 hours per week based on site needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of security-related experience.
• Willing to receive required hospital vaccinations.
• Willing to work in and around a hospital morgue.
• Able to restrain individuals when necessary.
• At least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.

As a Security Officer - Hospital - Part Time in Dover, NH, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSun03:00 PM – 03:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, including medical emergencies, disruptive behavior, and facility access concerns.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, and surrounding perimeters to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management in accordance with site‑specific procedures, while maintaining a professional presence in patient care areas.
• Document incidents, observations, and/or service requests accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security‑related experience.
• Be willing to receive required hospital vaccinations.
• Be willing to work in and around a hospital morgue.
• Be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
• Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical‑related field.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
