• Monitor access points and visitor activity; report unusual conditions and direct people as needed.
• Document incidents and patrol activities accurately and communicate with site leadership and responders.

Pay Rate: $18.36 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, behavioral health concerns, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, patient care areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, report unusual conditions or policy violations, and assist with directing individuals to appropriate locations.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possess at least 2 years of service in a healthcare/medical-related field.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
