Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of security-related experience.
• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Ability to restrain individuals.
• At least 2 years of experience in healthcare or medical-related field.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, medical-support requests, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific requirements, assisting with directions and access-related questions as needed.
• Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation, and communicate observations to appropriate personnel.

As a Security Officer Unarmed Hospital Site Patrol in Baltimore, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security‑related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to patients, visitors, and staff. • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
