Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Hospital Access Control in Fullerton, CA for a Part Time Swing Shift. The role offers $25.00 per hour and flexible scheduling via our Claim a Shift platform.

As a Security Officer, you will provide security services in a healthcare setting, monitor access points, perform patrols, and respond calmly to incidents while documenting activities for leadership and site supervision.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide customer service in a healthcare setting.
• Experience with access control and badge checks preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Must be at least 18 (unarmed) or 21+ (armed) depending on role.

Responsibilities

• Provide security services to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors per site policies and emergency procedures.
• Respond to incidents calmly and document activities for leadership and supervision.
• Conduct regular patrols of healthcare facilities and surrounding areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and escort as needed.
• Maintain clear reports of patrols, incidents and observations.

As a Security Officer Hospital Access Control in Fullerton, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Position Type: Part Time / Swing Shift

Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, patient or visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with directions, access control, and/or escort requests when appropriate.
• Maintain clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and interactions while communicating relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
