Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for a hospital location in Aiken, SC. The role focuses on safeguarding patients, staff, and visitors while delivering excellent customer service in a healthcare setting.

You will patrol designated areas, monitor access points, and respond to incidents with professionalism. The position is full-time, pays $16.00 per hour, and requires a high school diploma and background checks.

Formación

• Meet hospital vaccine requirements.
• Be able to work in a hospital morgue.
• Have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience, 2 years of security-related supervisor or manager experience, or 3 years of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, a background investigation will be conducted.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in compliance with laws.
• As a condition of employment, a drug screen may be required.

• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical facility disturbances, access concerns, and requests for assistance.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout healthcare facilities, surrounding grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor, patient, and staff entry procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document incidents, observations, and activities accurately and communicate relevant information to appropriate site personnel.

What You'll Do:

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
