Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer - Home Improvement Facility in San Antonio, TX. This full-time position involves unarmed patrols, serving clients, and maintaining a safe, welcoming environment for employees and visitors.

Minimum requirements include a HS diploma and a Guard Card/license preferred. Background checks and drug screening are required; driving positions require a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures at a building materials and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, yard, perimeter, entrances, loading areas, and other assigned locations to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor, vendor, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific procedures; report unauthorized access attempts or policy concerns.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

As a Security Officer - Home Improvement Facilty in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $15.05 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Tue: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Wed: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
