Job summary

Allied Universal in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a part-time Security Officer for HOA Visitor Access at an upscale club location. You will help maintain a welcoming, secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access credentials, assisting visitors, and communicating clearly with staff and guests.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to the location by verifying visitor credentials, documenting entries and exits, and directing authorized guests, vendors, and personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and reporting concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Maintain accurate access-control logs, incident reports, and other required documentation.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
