Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer for high-volume grocery retail in New York. You will provide top-tier customer service, conduct patrols, monitor access, and respond to incidents while maintaining a visible security presence.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted as a condition of employment.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories as allowed by law.
• A drug screen will be required where permitted by law.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the facility, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and report unusual activity according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate observations and security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

What You'll Do:
