Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer High Rise in Denver, CO to safeguard clients across utilities and other sectors. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain visibility to deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service with integrity.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and contractors by adhering to security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of utility operations areas, buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, directing visitors/contractors, and documenting entries and deliveries.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and notify relevant contacts.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate hazards or policy violations to leadership.

As a Security Officer High Rise in Denver, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a utilities location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming environment while responding to site needs with professionalism and integrity. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of utility operations areas, buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, directing visitors and contractors, and documenting entries, exits, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed by established procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports, maintain activity logs, and communicate observed hazards, equipment concerns, and policy violations to Allied Universal leadership and designated site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
