Allied Universal in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Security Officer for a high-end retail setting. You will patrol, monitor access, and provide excellent customer service to tenants and visitors while maintaining a visible, professional presence.

This full-time position pays $21.50 per hour and follows a day-time schedule with shifts across weekdays. Candidates should have security experience, a valid Guard Card, and the ability to operate computers or tablets.

As a Security Officer High End Retail in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine foot and bicycle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to tenants and visitors. You will use technology to document activity and communicate concerns while supporting a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, tenant and visitor inquiries, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property buildings, common areas, parking facilities, loading areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and promptly communicate incidents, observations, and policy violations to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least two years of security-related experience.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• The ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
