Job Description

As a Security Officer - Healthcare Site Patrolin San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, interacting with staff and visitors, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. You will contribute to a positive environment by responding to situations with professionalism and integrity, working as part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation. Your presence and attentiveness help create a welcoming atmosphere for everyone at the location.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $26.95 / Hour

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with emergency response activities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or conditions to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control and monitor entry points to help to maintain a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• CA Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• A valid guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
