Job Description

As a Security Officer - Healthcare Front Desk in Wayne, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more .

As a Front Desk Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will be stationed at the main entrance, greeting visitors and assisting with access control. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service and clear communication to all guests and staff. You will be a visible representative of our agile, reliable, and innovative team, always acting with integrity and putting people first in every interaction.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Mon 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM

Tue 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM

Wed 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM

Thur 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM

Fri 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist visitors, patients, and staff at the front desk in a professional manner.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying identification and managing visitor logs.
• Respond to security-related incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Follow site-specific policies and procedures, including those related to healthcare environments.
• Assist with emergency response activities as needed, following established protocols.
• Communicate with staff and management regarding any unusual activity or concerns at the front desk area.
  
  

Minimum Requirements

• At least 2 years of security experience is required.
• Possession of a Guard Card or security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• New Jersey Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
