Morning and Overnight Shifts: 7AM to 3PM on Sunday, 11PM to 7AM on Tuesday

$19.00 An Hour Starting Pay

As a Security Officer - Healthcare Desk in Gaithersburg, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Healthcare. Your role involves being the first point of contact for visitors and staff, monitoring access, verifying credentials, and providing excellent customer service to maintain a welcoming environment. Day Time

Tue 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist visitors, patients, and staff at the front desk, following site-specific policies and procedures.
• Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and managing visitor logs as required.
• Respond to security-related incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Communicate with staff and emergency responders as needed during incidents or emergencies.
• Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and directing individuals to appropriate areas within the location.
• Support emergency response activities when appropriate, following established protocols.

Minimum Requirements

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Maryland Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Must undergo background investigation as per laws.
• Qualified applications with criminal histories will be considered in accordance with applicable laws.
• Must pass a drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and may be needed before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required only for driving roles.
