Allied Universal is seeking a dedicated Security Officer for a healthcare setting in the Boston/Quincy area. The role focuses on safeguarding patients, visitors, and staff, while delivering excellent customer service and maintaining a visible security presence.

Responsibilities include routine patrols, access control, incident response, and accurate reporting. This full-time position offers paid orientation and training and a starting pay of $19.70 per hour.

Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Security Officer for a Health Care Company in Boston MA

Monday 5 PM - 1 AM, Wednesday, Thursday 1 AM - 9 AM and Saturday, Sunday 9 AM - 5 PM

Starting Pay is $19.70 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond professionally to concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, behavioral health concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facility areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, verifying authorization as directed, and providing directions or assistance to visitors and staff.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
