Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services provider, invites applications for a Security Officer Patrol in Lewiston, ID. The role involves patrolling healthcare facilities, assisting staff and visitors, and deterring incidents with a visible security presence.

The position is full-time with pay at $18.00 per hour. Candidates should have minimum security experience, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work the listed evening shifts in a healthcare environment.

Competenze

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screen may be required.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Tue: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Wed: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Thur: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, behavioral concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following site protocols.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts as assigned, and report access-control concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and security-related activities, and communicate pertinent information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
