Job summary

Thunder Valley Casino Resort is seeking a Security Officer to ensure the safety of Guests, Team Members, and assets. You will respond to emergencies, patrol all areas of the property, and document incidents with integrity.

The role requires effective communication, a valid California driver’s license, and the ability to obtain UAIC Tribal Gaming License. You may escort individuals and operate security vehicles while upholding company standards.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent preferred.
• Previous work experience in security or guest services preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form.
• Valid CA driver’s license.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to obtain UAIC Tribal Gaming License.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergencies including fires, medical emergencies, and criminal activity.
• Patrol public areas, service areas, back of house areas, and casino property for safety.
• Defuse disturbances and be prepared to engage physically if necessary.
• Observe and report suspicious activity and emergencies, taking action as required.
• Escort guests and team members to vehicles when requested.
• Operate and drive the security vehicle adhering to laws and regulations.
• Investigate and document incidents thoroughly.
• Transport and protect casino assets.
