Job summary

Marksman Security is hiring Security Officers at $20.69/hour with all shifts available. Weekend and holiday availability is required. The role involves deterring crime, protecting property, and enforcing site rules while monitoring CCTV and performing access control tasks.

Ideal candidates may have security or customer service experience; state training/licensing assistance may be provided for qualified applicants.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License / Clean Driving Record.
• Must be able to stand for up to 8-hour periods.
• Must be able to do extensive walking and stair climbing.
• Must be able to lift 10lbs.
• Valid state licensing, if applicable.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Familiarity with report writing.
• Monitoring and surveillance experience.
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks.
• Previous security experience is not required however is a PLUS!

Responsibilities

• Deter criminal activity and protect property on site.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms from a stationary position or patrol areas.
• Perform security checks and verify credentials of people and vehicles.
• Greet residents/visitors, log entries and control access as needed.
