Job summary

Marksman Security is hiring Security Officers to support client properties with vigilance and customer service. Weekend and holiday availability is required, with training and licensing assistance potentially available for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities include guarding property, monitoring CCTV, conducting foot and vehicle patrols, controlling access, and interacting with residents and guests in a professional manner.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Stand for up to 8 hours.
• Extensive walking and stair climbing.
• Can lift up to 10 lbs.
• Valid state licensing, if applicable.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Familiarity with report writing.
• Experience in monitoring and surveillance.
• Able to multitask and prioritize tasks.
• Previous security experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deter criminal activity, protect property and enforce rules on the property.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms from a stationary position.
• Patrol areas and perform security checks.
• Provide protection for equipment and workers and check credentials of vehicles and individuals entering/exiting the premises.
• Greet residents and guests, log visitor vehicles, and control access at the property.
