Job summary

Marksman Security in El Paso, TX is seeking Security Officers to deliver outstanding customer service, manage front desk operations, control access for tenants and visitors, and monitor cameras to deter theft and protect people and property.

The role requires 21+ years old, security licensing in Texas, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screening. You will read, write, and understand English, and perform physical duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Door staff/receptionist/customer service/clerical/hospitality experience preferred.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Able to obtain/maintain Texas Security License.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Able to meet physical requirements including lifting 50+ lbs, patrols, stairs, and inclement weather.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to all parties while on duty.
• Maintain front desk logs for people or property.
• Control access for tenants, visitors, or vendors.
• Monitor security cameras and conduct patrols to deter theft and maintain safety.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies and document data.

Responsibilities of Security Officers include, but are not limited to:

• Provide excellent Customer Service to all parties encountered while on duty, including assisting with directions and general business information
• Maintain clear, accurate administrative logs at front desk pertaining to people or property including packages.
• Control access for tenants, visitors or vendors as required
• Monitor security guard cameras and conduct patrols to guard against theft and maintain a safe environment
• Respond to incidents, including emergencies at the property, and record data on incidents for building.
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications of Security Officers:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have experience as a door staff professional or in a receptionist, customer service, clerical, hotel or restaurant position.
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Able to acquire and maintain a valid Texas Security License
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 50+ lbs, completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, working in inclement weather

Preferred Qualifications of Security Officers:

• Bi-lingual considered a plus.
• Daytime, Evening, overnight, and weekend availability
