Job summary

Allied Universal provides security solutions and careers in a dynamic, collaborative environment. We are seeking a Security Officer Graveyard Patrol in Los Angeles, CA to protect students, staff and visitors.

You will conduct patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents, while maintaining professionalism and integrity aligned with our standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control systems and badge processes is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established campus protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of academic buildings, common areas, parking facilities, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and required communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

As a Security Officer Graveyard Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points and alarm systems, remain visible to help deter incidents, and provide courteous communication to students, staff, and visitors.
