Job summary

The Post Oak is seeking a Security Officer to create a friendly, safe environment for guests and team members while protecting assets. You will patrol assigned areas, assist guests, and enforce gaming regulations and company policies.

The role requires alertness, good judgment, CPR/First Aid certification, and the ability to work nights and weekends. Physical stamina is essential, with capacity to lift 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Qualifications

• One year or more of law enforcement or security experience (preferred).
• American Red Cross or equivalent Adult First Aid/CPR certification or ability to obtain upon hire.
• Have or be able to obtain any gaming license that may be required.
• Minimum age requirement is 21.

• Ensure the safety and welfare of all guests and employees.
• Maintain order and keep peace on the property.
• Perform area security patrols in assigned areas.
• Provide courteous, professional guest service in all interactions.
• Investigate incidents and prepare detailed reports as needed.
• Read and analyze security reports daily.
• Observe and enforce gaming regs, policies, and laws.
• Stand or walk for long periods; lift at least 25 pounds.

Overview

The Security Officer’s main function is to provide a friendly and safe environment for guests and team members while protecting company assets.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the safety and welfare of all guests and employees.

• Responsible for maintaining order and keeping the peace on the property.

• Perform area-based security patrols in assigned areas throughout the property.

• Consistently deliver positive, courteous, and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors, and fellow employees.

• Exercise good judgment in solving problems and resolution of guest issues.

• Provide medical assistance to persons in need, including First Aid and CPR when necessary.

• Uphold and enforce gaming regulations, company policies, and procedures, as well as all Federal and State laws and regulations.

• Read, interpret, and analyze security reports and other company documents daily.

• Based on location, may be required to conduct investigations into a variety of internal and external incidents and create detailed reports to reflect findings.

• Monitor incidents resulting in loss and investigate to determine the source of the loss.

• Work a flexible schedule to accommodate the needs of the operation, including nights and weekends when necessary.

• Display professional conductt, sound judgment, the highest level of professional integrity and a strong work ethic.

• This position requires standing or walking for long periods of time.

• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors/Manager.

• Based on location, may be required to perform legal detainments when it is legal to do so.

• At times, may be responsible for verifying casino guests are of legal age before entering any gaming areas.

• Must be able to lift and carry at least 25 pounds at a time.

Pay Range
