Job Description

As a Security Officer Government Facility Badge Driver in Del Valle, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. You will communicate professionally with visitors and staff while supporting access control and routine site operations. Join a caring, reliable team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTime Mon 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Tue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at government facilities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, public areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor and employee activity in accordance with site procedures and applicable government facility requirements.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and emergency services as needed.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
