Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Patrol Entry Screening in Roseville, CA. You will protect clients in Retail/Malls and other settings, while delivering friendly customer service and maintaining a safe environment.

You will perform routine patrols, monitor access points, and respond to security concerns with professionalism. This role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for growth within a large, national security team.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigation will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and team members per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and security-related situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the venue, surrounding retail areas, entrances, parking areas and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and assist with directing guests, vendors, and deliveries per procedures.
• Document incidents and report concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Pay Rate: $22.30 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and team members by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the entertainment venue, surrounding retail areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points and assist with directing guests, vendors, and deliveries in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and report concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
