• Respond to incidents and alarms; notify appropriate personnel and document events.
• Prepare clear activity and incident reports and communicate observations to site leadership.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a utilities location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors while supporting access control and other security-related operations. Pay Rate: $22.72 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM


• Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and utility operations personnel by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.


• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of utility facilities, buildings, access points, equipment areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.


• Monitor access to assigned areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and report unauthorized entry attempts or access concerns.


• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document events according to site requirements.


• Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports, maintain required logs, and communicate observations or security‑related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.


• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.


• Access control and badge experience is preferred.


• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
