Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions only.

As a Security Officer Full Time Gated Residential Community in Fullerton, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Access Control Security Officer, you will help maintain a welcoming residential community by monitoring entry points, verifying authorized access, and assisting residents, guests, and vendors with professionalism. You will remain visible, communicate clearly, and help deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, maintain visitor and vendor logs, and communicate access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, parking areas, community amenities, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and observations in accordance with site-specific reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
