Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a dedicated Security Guard for full-time evening shifts at a gated commercial real estate location. You will patrol, monitor access, and provide excellent customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors while maintaining a visible security presence.

The role requires strong communication, adherence to site policies, and timely response to incidents. CPR/First Aid is preferred, and a guard card or license is advantageous.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors at a commercial real estate location.

• Monitor access points and verify credentials; direct guests and deliveries as needed.

Security Guard Full Time Gated Computer Patrol in Coto De Caza, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or contractors at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of building common areas, parking facilities, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures; verify credentials and direct guests, vendors, and delivery personnel as needed.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate with appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when required.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and daily activities in clear, accurate reports, and promptly report security-related concerns to Allied Universal supervision and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
