Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required per law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and enforce site policies at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor/contractor entry, and maintain access-control records.
• Respond to incidents calmly and escalate through proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, loading areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Support orderly movement of employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries per site access-control requirements.

As a Security Officer Full Time Credential Verification in Walton, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic logistics and distribution location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and help to deter security-related incidents. Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor entry, and maintain accurate access-control records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Support the orderly movement of employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries while following site-specific access-control requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
