Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Warehouse in Riviera Beach, FL. You will monitor, deter and report security incidents while providing excellent customer service to employees and visitors.

This role requires at least 2 years of security experience, a guard card, and strong observation skills. The schedule covers afternoons Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday, and the pay rate is $17.25 per hour.

Qualifications

• Two years of security-related experience or more is required.
• A guard card or license is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and document observations, incidents, and patrol activity in accordance with site requirements.
• Support a professional environment by communicating clearly with site personnel and following Allied Universal and client-specific security-related protocols.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Warehouse in Riviera Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist with access control and badge processes. You will deliver outstanding customer service, communicate professionally, and work with integrity and teamwork in Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture.

What You'll Do

Minimum Requirements

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A guard card or license is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
