As a Security Officer Full Time Visitor Entry Driver in Nederland, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a secure environment through teamwork, integrity, and a caring, reliable approach.

Pay Rate: $16.53 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM
• Fri: 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM
• Sat: 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM
• Sun: 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors while carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points at a chemical and petrochemical location, verifying credentials, visitor authorizations, and contractor access requirements.
• Maintain accurate access logs, issue and collect visitor badges or passes, and report access discrepancies according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency personnel as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, surrounding areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized entry and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
