Allied Universal in Seadrift, TX is seeking a Security Officer Secure Entry Driver to protect clients at a chemical/petrochemical site. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access, and provide outstanding customer service while potentially operating a vehicle.

This full-time role requires a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma or equivalent, a background check, and a drug screen. Earn $15 per hour with scheduled shifts listed in the posting.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and emergency response activities.
• Verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor entry, maintain access records, and report unauthorized access attempts.
• Monitor entry points, gates, and access-control systems at a chemical/petrochemical site, escalating alarms as needed.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow established emergency protocols.
• Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.

As a Security Officer Secure Entry Driver in Seadrift, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue 05:00 PM - 05:00 AM
• Wed 05:00 PM - 05:00 AM
• Thur 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM
• Fri 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor entry, maintain access records, and report unauthorized access attempts in accordance with site procedures.
• Monitor entry points, gates, and access-control systems at a chemical and petrochemical location, escalating alarms or irregular conditions promptly.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established emergency protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
