Responsibilities

• Receive and direct visitors, answer calls, maintain logs, and communicate questions to site personnel.
• Monitor access points, alarms, cameras, and other systems; report unusual activity.

Pay Rate: $18.39 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri 02:00 PM - 06:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities appropriate for a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Staff the front desk and manage visitor, contractor, and employee entry in accordance with established identification, credentialing, and sign-in requirements.
• Receive and direct visitors, answer incoming calls, maintain front‑desk logs, and communicate routine questions or concerns to appropriate site personnel.
• Monitor access points, alarms, cameras, and other assigned systems from the front desk, reporting unusual activity or equipment concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including contacting emergency personnel and site contacts as directed by established procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security‑related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
